Сьогодні - 28 Липня, відзначається день Хрещення Київської Русі Володимиром Великим. У цей день жителів столиці охрестили у Дніпрі. А в який день мала місце ця подія насправді?
Перший Псковський літопис вказує астрономічні дані, на основі яких можна встановити точну дату Хрещення Русі, ця подія відбулася 1 серпня 988 року. Очевидно, що дійство тривало не один день, і швидше за все це дата, коли було оголошено указ Володимира Великого і перші Кияни охрестилися у Дніпрі.
